Hope you are all finding that 2017 is a good fresh start of the year, Glossybox have kick started 2017 off with this superfood-inspired box ‘The Edible Edit.’ This January Glossybox has collaborated with ‘Deliciously Stella’ to bring us a box that according to them is “good enough to eat” (but don’t actually eat it.)

Inside the box : 5 products (4 full size)…1 Beauty, 3 Skincare & 1 Hair Product!

SKINCARE

NIP + FAB Kale Fix Moisturiser (30ml) – This moisturizer is packed full of kale, watercress and almond oil…all the things that we are putting into our salads we now have access to them in our skincare beauty regime too! It is so enriching for the skin and protects the skin from external aggressors like stress and pollution. It also contains Aloe Vera and Shea Butter both help to keep the skin silky smooth and soft. If your into products that celebrities rave about Nip + Fab are a brand that is a beauty staple for some celebrities. Kylie Jenner is one of them who apparently uses these products, she has recommended her favourite NIP + FAB products too, so it would be worth checking out if you like to know what celebrities use. Not a big preference of mine but it is always good to see what other people recommend so i am always willing to look up :). Very excited to use this because of all the beneficial ingredients packed into the product, i hope it lives up to it’s claims.

UNANI Illuminate Milk Cleanser (Full size 200ml) – Happy to of received a cleanser in this box. Recently i have been trying out new cleansers to see what one i like best to change up my skincare routine for when i’m 21. So happy it’s from a new brand that i haven’t heard of before. This retails at £14 for 200ml (so just a small amount more for the box price we actually paid) and claims to be a gentle milk cleanser. It contains nutritious natural oils that support and protect your skin. It can remove make up and other impurities. Final results is recharged and smooth skin. The scent is just a fresh subtle scent which smells creamy so very refreshing for the face. It’s texture is so creamy and milk like which is very fitting so not too thick or too thin. The only down side to this product is that if i really love it, it will be hard to get my hands on it because it comes all the way from Spain.  SAM_3804.JPG

VITAMASQUES Manuka Honey Face Mask – Manuka Honey has been a big topic in all of my magazine i get, so many benfits this has. For anyone who doesn’t know Manuka Honey is produced in New Zealand from a Manuka bush by bees. It has had so much publicity recently because it is one of the most beneficial and unique forms of honey in the world. This is because there are so many uses for Manuka Honey and it basically has healing powers. It can heal sore throats, nourish skin, help digestive illnesses and cure staph infections. So having this in a face mask for only £3.99 i was extremely happy about. The face mask itself is Korean inspired with the sheet design. It claims to nourish, moisturise and hydrate the skin and contains a triple layer sheet technology which enhances moisturise content from the mask and helps absorption rate for the skin increase. No washing off is needed for this mask as afterwards you just pat the excess gel into your face and it will just absorb…perfect!SAM_3801.JPG

Beauty

The Balm Meet Matt(e) Trimony Single Eyeshadow – The balm is a brand very well known in cult beauty. They have gorgeous and sometimes cheeky cartoon illustrations on each of their products and a good range of make up products to choose from. Their eye shadow palettes are £34 and in this glossybox we got a single eye shadow. There were two colours that you could of received, both have aubergine hues in them though. This shade colour is called Matt Moskowitz, the eye shadow itself has a velvety texture and i can tell it will be a good quality smooth application eye shadow. The eye shadows you can use wet or dry to get a good true pigmented colour. I love the closure on this it has a magnetic clasp on the front so easily shuts up securely. Sadly, glossybox picked out two colours that are abit out of my comfort zone for me, but i bet someone who wears this type of colour would adore having this in the box. SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURESSAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Haircare

HAIRON Zero Crease Hair Tie – I bet all of already know about this new type of hair tie. Alot of people have these now and they are extremely useful. I am happy to of received this not only because these are pink but because you can never have too many hair ties, pop one in your make up case, in the bathroom, next to your bed, in your handbag etc…always useful to have one within grabbing distance. These hair ties are the new best thing. They are metal free, with a non-slip spiral design which is perfect for keeping your hair nice and secure. It also doesn’t snag or leave any kinks and if you want you could always wear as a bracelet too! I love these hair ties i find these so much more secure than normal hair ties, i brought my first lot in December from Look Fantastic (in the Time to shine edition – Rose Muse) so now i have some more i am extremely happy with that 🙂 SAM_3818.JPG

Overall for this January Glossybox i am pleased with the majority of products inside, my only negative note would be that i would of liked a choice for the eye shadow shade. But, i am again happy that there are more new brands for me to try at the start of 2017! I cannot wait for the next box (February) they haven’t given us a sneak peek of anything yet, just what the design for the box is and it is so stylish…zebra print with Love written on it! Absolutely stunning let’s hope the contents inside are just as gorgeous 🙂

Love Charlotte XO

UNTIL NEXT TIME BEYOU-TIFUL INSIDE & OUT XOXO

The mask is lovely. I tried it the other night and my skin felt great the next day. I have used the moisturiser; my face has gone really sore and dry but I don’t know if it’s this or because I am sick ( cold grrr) so I’d be interested to know what you think.

Hiya again! Thought i would give you a little up date…i have tried the moisturiser for a few days now and i absolutely love it!! It is so so smooth on my face and luckily didn’t make my face sore or dry! At first it feels quite thick so i can imagine it would make an amazing moisturiser for the winter! Take Care XO

I’ve tried the Balm eye shadow before and loved it. Well actually mine dueled as shadow and blush and I used mine for blush bc I’m not much of a shadow user but I seriously LOVED it as my blush. Definitely one of my favorite products, I’ve been meaning to try more of their beauty products!
